The xPC Targetbox option includes all stand-alone software licenses required for rapid prototyping in the field. The other three would also require stand-alone licenses--a $2500 option--in addition to the base price if we wanted to upload code in the field from a remote laptop not connected to the GT site license. The MM-32 A/D card (Prometheus CPU) and DM6430/DM6604 A/D cards (IDAN enclosure) are supported by xPC Target. The Quanser board is only an option if we use a desktop PC as a host. It is not supported by xPC Target, but does come with its own Simulink libraries and WinCon compiler.

Incidentally, Caterpillar has bought 6 Targetboxes from Mathworks. (Andy May)
